WE CAN ! Facts of LIfe can be discouraging. In our efforts to do our day, we can be discouraged and discouraging. Praise. Praise Honestly....find your sincerity when you praise, and praise yourself for a moment, and ...... "ta-daaa!" Few of us need to be concerned that we may become vain and useless if we praise. Be better at accepting praise....it is food and vitamins, of a sort.
PATRIOTS: each of us must be. We lean on our America so much! And yet, start chat with ten Americans about America, and 5 will criticize after a minute, three will hedge, and only one or two will have the ABILITY , natural or developed, to say a sincere "God Bless America !"
TERRORISM: Get Bin Laden. No amount of compensation can substitute for ending a 30+-year cycle of Terrorism and its degenerating, insidious effect on all of us, and all we hold dear. Triumph helps our ABILITY to be great patriots. If you think we don't need it...please re-think.
GAS- the President serves, he does not create sociology. It was good to hear from him what all wise ones have said for half a century: alternate methods to gas for fuel are better, safer and cheaper and more modern. It is not so unrealistic to make cars run by a battery and a computer chip...zero emissions, too.
SSA :Seniors and disabled are being helped by new public money, and tax breaks, and more to inspire supplementary and private incomes must be encouraged, without killing pressures ..... most disabled can and prefer to be self-supporting, but the lifesaving SSA/SSI money can be a big trap. I will add the "sublist" for success in this project.
SECURITY: above all , we cannot be so dumb and vulnerable. We are the best, we have access to best in supplies and manpower, and yet .....we can do it, and I have faith that we will.
SAFETY: America has taken for granted it's abilities at INNOVATION. We're not doing it...not as we should ! Occupant / Passenger Safety & Escape issues for Tall Buildings and Airplanes were beyond us, when they were tried 50 years ago.
The technology was not there, and the costs sky-high for tecnology that DID exist. So the great ideas were put away, with embarassed laughter at our folly. However, part of our 1976 Bi-Centennial celebration should have included the Amazing Re-introduction of great tech for Occupant / Passenger Safety & Escape. Ask me for details. Or get lively in YOUR community on this subject. It needs to happen. The horror, grief, depression and paranoia that are "normal" for Post Nineleven days have created a bizarre RESISTANCE to Remedy. Groups and Committees organized to achieve on this issue with Government, Architecture and Aeronautics,have met with negative response, failure to respond and outright sneers and belligerance. We must break thru it and WIN !
