Part of the artist's ethnic background is Irish and so the Celtic is of great interest. Ireland was converted to Christianity fairly early, and the ancient pagan symbols were translated to the Christian modes, to help early converts to connect and understand this path to God. There is still an ageless power in these symbols and in our modern times, people seem to have renewed a special interest in them. I tried, in this first of a series by popular request, to reach back in time, to achieve a profundity and depth in the prayerful focus. I hope I was successful.
